SPEAKERS:

  • Rick Eutsler

SCRIPTURES:

  • 1 John 2:1-12, Philippians 2:1-8, 2 Timothy 2:1-3

SUBJECT:

  • Uncle Tom’s Cabin is a book about a man who endured hardness as a good soldier.
  • How endless is the love of God?  Who brought you to the Lord?
  • Pray and ask for the love of God.
  • Hang on to the promise God has for you.  Jesus paid the price for every sin, so why are you hung up about it?
  • If you keep His commandments, you are in Him.
  • If you love your brother, you are in the light.  Hating (not preferring) your brother, you are in darkness.
  • Humble yourself before God and walk in His love.
  • The message from South Carolina service today when Steve spoke about his life and where he was, he was saying that someone loved him enough to look at someone who, on paper, was impossible to save.  There was no hope that he would ever receive the Gospel.
  • We, as the Church and those who call themselves Christians, have been under the fierce wrath of God.  Just look around and you can see it.  But the messages today have been about there is nobody who is unsaveable in Jesus.
  • God wants to perform a miracle, but it’s going to take a people who are willing to take up the arms – spiritual arms in warfare we are now facing – for the very world.
  • Don’t let your past continue to drive your future.
  • Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
  • Do you know there is a battle going on?  Do you know how to engage in that battle?  Do you engage in that battle?  Is it something that is in the forefront of your mind throughout your day, that you are in a battle?
  • The fight, battle or war that you are in is not only for you, it is for the saving of the lost.
  • There are 2 destructive forces at work, one that wants to put down the other with great force.
  • The same force that is driving them wants to keep you down, subject to fear, worry, stress, subjected to this old man when the Lord your savior through His sacrifice and His blood has set you free.  Now what are you going to do with that?
  • Get rid of your agenda and your will and the Lord will replace it with a joy and love that you didn’t even know existed.
  • Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  This can not be done when you are about your own business.
