SUBJECT:

  • What does it mean to be in Christ Jesus? It means we have zero sense of our flesh but only of Christ. We can only stand in Him by faith.
  • We are in Christ Jesus solely by faith in the operation of God, that is something He has done, not anything we do.
  • Solomon learned the truth, that this flesh is never satisfied, it always wants more.
  • We can lay things up for our children, but if they don’t have a foundation in Christ, it means absolutely nothing!
  • We need to give up our plans for the Lord’s plans. 
  • Before we were set free by Jesus, we were subject to vanity. 
  • The just shall live by faith.
  • We receive gifts by faith in Jesus Christ. Not one good thing comes from us, it’s all from Him!
  • Man loves vanity. Sin is vanity, we were subject to it before coming to know Christ.
  • If we are going to live IN Christ Jesus we can no longer dwell IN this flesh, the old man. 
  • Jesus took all the sin of all the world when He died on the cross, but was resurrected without sin.
  • The Lord is clothed with righteousness and glory. 
  • If we are going to walk free of condemnation, we are going to walk as one in Christ!
  • How often do we pray, not in faith?
  • We can’t go after a standard we can’t see, the Lord has a standard we can see.
  • Being one with God is not hard work. Being baptized is not hard work. What can be hard is believing God’s promises through that event. 
  • Doubt your doubts! The battle is in your mind, as we win and are able to stand, all the things of the Lord will begin to manifest through us unto others. 
  • When our failings are in our face continually we don’t need to get hung up, we just need to know that’s why our savior died for us!
