SUBJECT:

  • You could be a part of the largest church and be the farthest from God while thinking you are right with God.
  • The fear of the Lord and to serve the Lord are both choices. It is natural to serve the flesh but it is a dead man you are chained to until you become free in Christ.
  • Being tied to your flesh is like carrying around a corpse on your back.  Do you live knowing that?
  • Are you willing to give up everything, all the lies you live in, for the truth?  Are you willing to give up a lofty position, possessions, family, friends, etc?
  • Dark and light don’t exist together, you must choose to abide in one or the other.
  • The character and nature of God is Him with His arms out ready to deliver anyone who will take it. You cannot take hold of the Lord’s redemption or salvation and hold onto your own life.
  • How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity?  Fools hate knowledge.
  • There is a limit to God’s grace, you don’t know when He will cut you off, if you continue in your own way.
  • Most people in the churches today are not believers, most preachers are not believers.  If it were not so the world would be very different.
  • People don’t even realize how far away from God they are, because the turn from Godliness to ungodliness has happened gradually over time. People don’t know it when it happens gradually, just like the story of the frog in the pot…  If you put a frog in a boiling pot of water it’s going to try and jump out.  If you put a frog in a pot of room temperature water and slowly turn up the heat, the frog won’t realize what’s happening until it’s too late.
  • Christians, you are where you are because of you, it is nobody else’s fault.  The problem in the world is the Church, not the unbelievers.  You have forsaken Him.  Repent!
  • Christians don’t want to accept what is going on today, and that’s no different than in the days of Jeremiah when God told him to stop praying for anything good for the people.  They’d rather pretend everything is going to be ok.
  • The anger of God is kindled against His “people” (Christians) right now and they don’t even know it.
  • Christians:  you think you’re Jeremiah, but you’re not!  You’re the people who have rejected the Lord.  The church needs to repent!
