Margaret Schilke – Volunteer at Grace Ranch Texas

Margaret Schilke is a 34 year old wife, mother and volunteer at Grace Ranch who is in training for the ministry.  She arrived at Grace Ranch in the Summer of 2014 at the urging of a friend and with the support of her parents.  She was on methadone treatments at the time so Ann dutifully drove her on the daily 2 hour round trip to the clinic in El Paso for her treatment.  After having been healed of a chronic back injury, she was encouraged in the faith and quickly was able to get free of her addiction without the need for ongoing treatment.  As a mother bear robbed of her welps, Margie was beside herself without her children.  In 2016, she and her husband traveled back to Maryland to face the music, so to speak, for their past transgressions.  What transpired exceeded abundantly above all they could ask or think and now their children reside with them at the ranch.  Margie uses her culinary training at the ranch, running our Camp Kitchen.  If you would like to adopt Margie as a volunteer, know that $250 a month would do just that.  If that is too steep for you, but you would like to make a one time gift or a smaller monthly donation, know that would likewise be greatly appreciated.  Click on one of the links above to contribute.
