Nehemiah 1, Hebrews 11:32-40

SUBJECT:

  • There is a rising up in and amongst this body. 
  • Ask the Lord’s Spirit to well up in us and do that transformative work in us. 
  • The task that we have as a body of Christ before us is pretty extraordinary.
  • Righteousness means being in right standing with God.
  • The Lord would use different nations to chasten the Israelites.
  • Nehemiah’s love extended to God and those He didn’t even have contact with.
  • Serve your master faithfully, they are the masters we need! 
  • We need to make ourselves God’s servants in a hope that God would accept as such, like Nehemiah did. 
  • We need to accept that we are given rulers after our own hearts.
  • One man, Nehemiah, chose to believe God and because of his belief in God freed a whole nation. 
  • Through faith this nation is able to be brought unto subjection to the Lord.
  • Break down any demonic force that hold this nation down, let that Spirit of God rise up in us, that we stand as the faithful in the Bible stood!
  • No weapons formed against us will prosper!
  • When every wicked device gets foiled, people will be open to the truth in Jesus Christ!
  • We can have the promises of God, every one of them, we have to go get them. 
  • Stand in faith for our family and others so they may come to know the truth.  Humble yourselves to walk in faith.
  • Christ has not been lifted up in the church but has been put down!  We are here to lift Him up!
