Service Notes For Sunday Texas 2020-10-18

SPEAKERS:

  • Carter Price
  • Rick Eutsler, Jr.

SCRIPTURES:

  • Matthew 5:43, Romans 5:1-5

SUBJECT:

  • Give thanks when people recognize you’re going off track and are willing to correct and guide you.  It’s a blessing.  God doesn’t reject you in spite of it all.
  • Just because you made a mistake and failed, does not mean you should draw back and not minister the Gospel.  Step forward as soon as possible and try again, otherwise you’ll never get back.
  • Jesus is the way out and He is the only hope where none other is seen.
  • When you have a moment where you fail and fall, you get to learn from it.
  • Choose to appreciate the correction and guidance God gives, to draw things out into the light.
  • Micah chose to serve his father and found deliverance and freedom in that choice.  What an awesome testimony Micah shared in SC this morning about the miracles God performed for his father.
  • We have a mighty hope in Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus Christ is beautiful for every situation, not us.
  • Love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy is how we are naturally.  Jesus says love your enemies because that’s where things can change.
  • The Lord prepared Micah for the things that were to come with his Dad, which may have seemed hard to Micah in the moment.
  • Pressing in to the mark is believing God that He has accomplished it already and is bringing you to the fulness of it.
  • In Him is all hope and all good things.
  • Everything is accomplished in Him, not you or your strength or effort.
  • May the Lord bring you through in the gentlest way possible, to the fulness of what God has.
