SUBJECT:

  • When the Lord is real to you, you can’t help but to share it with others.
  • If it’s a burden for you to come to Church or Bible study, and you come with a superficial face but inside you are dying, it does not have to stay that way.
  • If you have the Spirit of God, and you are in Christ, praising the Lord you will generate fruit.  A lemon tree makes lemons, not grapes, there was no work involved by the lemon tree it just made the fruit.
  • Fruit represents what the tree is, and your life reflects where you are at.  The Bible says you will know them by their fruit.
  • But the fruit of the Spirit is God’s love, the attributes of the fruit is joy, (not happiness which doesn’t last because it is about the flesh).  Joy fuels you through the day regardless of what goes on.
  • Peace is not warm fuzzies, but rather the cessation of war with God. Frustrations are all about yourself.   You can’t serve two masters.
  • Jesus says you are my friends if you do whatsoever I command you.  If you are Christ’s you have crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts and obey Him whatever He wants you to do.
  • God has redeemed His creation and does not force you to accept and embrace it by admitting your guilt.
  • Davy asked “What do you have to give up to become a Christian, what do you have to lose?”  The answer is you have to give up everything of you to receive all of Him.   There is no middle ground, you choose God or you are playing a game.
  • Do you ask God what He wants you to do?   It’s impossible to be God’s friend and do your own thing.
  • Humble yourself and realize it isn’t the world’s problem, or your parents or children, your wife the pastor or even the government’s problem.   The problem lies with you and the only way to fix it is to ask the Lord to show you each thing, and where you can put it off.
  • If it seems normal and natural you have probably not given it up.
  • All you have to do is humble yourself and ask for the Lord’s forgiveness, and believe Him and His Word!
  • Each day can become a new beginning by seeking Him first and thanking Him for the time to learn, to submit and get things right so you can show His love, so He can show it to others through you.
  • Believe the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.
