SUBJECT:
- Jesus IS the Lord of the way I feel.
- The Lord tells you to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. But many are flippant and not serious about it.
- You have been a tree in the ground bearing the fruit of self instead of the fruit of God.
- You have a choice, choose to believe Him and walk in it. He will accomplish it all!
- You want lists and the Bible has lists everywhere, but they’re not achieved in your flesh or by you, they’re achieved by Christ alone.
- If you are walking in faith, by faith, there is evidence of that faith.
- The Word talks about the catching away (several of them), most commonly taught as the “rapture”, which is not scriptural, but those who are caught away will go to meet Him in the air, BY FAITH! Where is the evidence of that kind of faith in your life?
- Set your affection on things above.
- Do you desire the things of God or the things of this world?
- What hold does the enemy have on you if you are hid in Christ by faith?
- You kill the snake that is out to kill you, you should not cuddle up to those things. Mortify (destroy, or kill) your members is what it talks about in the Word.
- An idolater is anyone who puts ANY thing as more important than God. That which you fear is your god.
- Anger is a result of pride, put off anger with humility.
- Filthy communication is worthlessness – things that have no depth.
- In Christ we are all the same, there is no black, white, asian, fat, thin, short, tall.
- Brother Rick talked about when one part of the body has a job to do and it is busy with something else and therefore not able to accomplish that thing, the other parts of the body make up the difference and help accomplish that task that needs doing. He used the analogy of a left hand being a butt-scratcher but having something in the hands and yet needing to scratch an itch, so the other hand puts down what it’s holding to accomplish the task.
- Be ye thankful! Do all things heartily as unto the Lord and He will inhabit it. What is there NOT to be thankful for?
- Attending Elijah School for the Prophets for 15 years in a row doesn’t mean anything if you walk away not doing it.
- Colossians 3:17, is this true of you? Be honest! If not, repent, because God has mercies that are new every day.
- Colossians 3:18 is a practical application of putting off the old man and putting on the new man.
- A persons walk is not determined by your behavior. But you can make it easier or harder for them. Set them up to succeed or fail.
- Colossians 3 is God’s standard and you have been walking by your standard for far too long.
- When you disregard God’s Word, you despise it.
- During the 2019 conference we were all prayed over that the Lord would roll away the reproach of the old man, do not go back or step back from that call.
- Being broken is ok! Because He wants to put you back together.
